The scholars are assisted by NMMU Melodi Residence mentors with problem subjects at school or any subject that they feel they need assistance with in order to perfom better.

TALENT SCOUTING

The Childrens talents are assesed and opportunities to grow their talents are sought out for them so that they can empower themselves and be better at what they love and are good at.

ELECTRICITY SUPPLIER

Is company across the road from the centre which donates R2000 per month for electricity as well as maintains any broken and blocked drains by sending plumbers for their account to fix and also uses their electrical dept for any electrical needs and repairs.

Their medical sister on site also helps with health care needs for the children as well as their canteen that supplies any leftover food from meals and functions.

NEWTON PARK METHODIST CHURCH

Has a special sub-committee for Sinethemba which meets every month to discuss issues :

They also arrange quarterly birthday parties for children which have birthdays within that period as also help maintain a vegetable garden by supplying a gardener once a week.

They also donate food as and when required and help cover school books at the beginning of every school year.
